Dana Fair draws from three decades of marketing communications and public relations experience to advise executive and senior leaders on how to strategically position themselves and key projects to achieve their organizations' missions and goals. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a M.A. from Eastern Michigan University.

Dana has been a consultant to an array of for-profit and nonprofit businesses, organizations, and clients from Fortune 500 to startups. As a senior communicator at U-M, he has advised vice presidents and institutional leaders on various matters. Units positively impacted include communications, counseling and psychological services, disability services, Greek life, health services, information technology, international affairs, multi-ethnic affairs, sexual assault prevention and awareness, university housing, and others.


An accredited (APR) member of the Public Relations Society of America, Dana participates in the Counselors to Higher Education section, which is the premier national networking and development association for senior communicators in higher education.

His accolades include a national bronze medal for a campus-wide anti-hazing campaign (U.S.), an international award for a strategic publications plan (Canada), and a certificate for an international program of academic excellence (Russia).

In ministry, Dana has served on the board of two parachurch organizations, advised pastors and spiritual leaders, and been a men’s ministry leader.
